Mr. Orlando graduated with an accounting degree in 1975 from St. Joseph's University where he served first as Community Service Chairman and then as President of the International Professional Business Fraternity.  He played ice hockey for St. Joe's and received the team's rookie of the year award.  He was awarded membership in Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society. 

Mr. Orlando worked as an auditor for public accounting firm Arthur Anderson for one year while pursuing a possible career in federal law enforcement.  An eye injury sustained in an ice hockey game made him ineligible for many federal law enforcement positions so Mr. Orlando became a police officer for the Bensalem Township Police Department.  Mr. Orlando was a police officer from 1976 through 1980. He received four commendations from the Department.  He was also elected President of the Police Benevolent Association, which provided labor representation for the officers.  Mr. Orlando's assignments included the Uniformed Patrol Division and the Plain Clothes Tactical Unit.  He often testified in Court and he developed a passion for the courtroom and decided to become a lawyer. 

Mr. Orlando attended the Temple University School of Law where he graduated cum laude in 1983.  He served as both a staff member and an editor on the school's law review.  Mr. Orlando joined the Trial Department at White and Williams in May of 1983 where he has tried many significant product liability, construction accident, automobile and trucking accident, dram shop, civil rights and premises liability cases.  His practice is devoted to representing seriously injured individuals, helping them and their families recover from the devastating physical, emotional and financial effects of their injuries.  Mr. Orlando has represented both adults and children who have been seriously injured at work, at school, on various playing fields, on local streets and highways and on public and private premises. 

Mr. Orlando is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and is admitted to appear before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  He has tried many significant cases and has argued on behalf of his clients before the Pennsylvania Superior Court, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.  In 2009 and 2010, Mr. Orlando was elected in a survey of his peers as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by Law and Politics magazine.  Mr. Orlando is also AV rated by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system. 


Mr. Orlando is married and has three children.  He is a certified ice hockey coach.  He continues to play ice hockey and is an avid cyclist.
