Julia Lee has represented individuals in a wide array of legal matters over the course of her career - from criminal law to commercial disputes, motor vehicle accidents to construction cases. She now focuses exclusively on providing superior representation to individuals who are seriously injured in accidents. Her approach to representation is service-oriented, ensuring that each of her clients are pleased with both the process and outcome in each case.
Ms. Lee earned undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Philosophy from State University of New York at Binghamton in three and a half years. She was a member of Phi Eta Sigma, a national honors society.
Ms. Lee had a distinguished academic career at Temple University School of Law where she earned top honors in a number of areas, including the Victor Jaczun Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. She was a member of the Temple's renowned National Trial Team, which competes in different cities throughout the country. She was named National Champion at The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Trial Competition and was a finalist at The Association of Trial Lawyers of America Civil Trial Competition. During law school, she worked for the New York City-Manhattan District Attorney's Office as well as the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania-where she earned the Outstanding Oral Advocate Award.
Ms. Lee spent the early part of her legal career continuing to develop the trial skills she learned during law school. Before joining White and Williams, Ms. Lee was a trial attorney at the Metropolitan Public Defender's Office in Portland, Oregon, where she handled hundreds of cases. There she honed her trial skills, and became widely known as one of the best trial attorneys at her office. She was also known for her superior negotiation skills. She prepared each case for trial and worked with many experts, including handwriting experts and psychologists. She has an extensive trial record with proven results for clients.
Ms. Lee is an avid distance runner and completed the Philadelphia Marathon in 2008. She is married with two young children and lives in the East Falls area of Philadelphia. She is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the New Jersey Bar Association. She volunteers regularly with the Volunteers for the Indigent Program in Philadelphia and is also involved with the Wills for Heroes Program-a free will drafting program for our area's fire fighters and police officers. Ms. Lee was recently invited to co-author and teach a Continuing Legal Education course through the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, entitled Civil Litigation 101.
Ms. Lee is admitted to practice in Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and before the federal courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.
