What is a dangerous product? What makes a product defective?

Most of the time, we don't think twice about the items we use everyday at home, at work or at play. Things like furniture, tools, utensils for the home and garden, recreational sporting goods, children's toys and cribs, the furniture in your home, etc.  We rarely think that these items can be dangerous, but almost every product can be defective or dangerous.  So what makes a product defective or dangerous? A product can be defective if it has a manufacturing defect, or even a design defect.  For more information, see our recent article on dangerous and defective products which explains what these defects are.
