Roofer falls from roof

This case involved a commercial roofer who fell 40 feet from a low pitch roof during a re-roofing project at a public school in New Jersey. There was no fall protection, fall arrest system or warning line/edge monitor in place. Our client suffered catastrophic orthopedic injuries as well as a serious closed head injury. He was unable to return to work as a result of his injuries. He was also facing a lifetime of future medical expenses. We were able to resolve the case prior to trial.
