Yes. Recreational facilities used for birthday parties, social parties or play dates can be held liable if young children are injured at the facility. What we see all the time are situations in which companies or recreational facilities hosting the recreational activity for the children do not comply with their own safety standards.
For example, we often see recreational facilities that provide various moon bounces have signs which say "no more than 8 or 10 children in the bounce at the same time." However, when you look in, you see 25 kids in there. If a child gets injured as a result of that overcrowding, then in that situation, certainly there would be a viable case against the recreational facility.
