A: Under Pennsylvania law, waivers of liability are not enforced against minors. Thus a minor's claim for negligence against a camp, school or other type of recreational program will be allowed to continue, regardless of whether the minor signed the form or not. However, if a parent signs the form, any claim the parent may have against the camp, school, etc., will in most cases, be barred.
