The product I was using when I got hurt broke and someone threw it away. Does this mean that I cannot sue the company that made thisproduct? Does that mean that I should not bother to call you about this accident?

A: Many times, after someone is injured by a product, the injured person is taken to the hospital and does not worry about saving the product. That is certainly understandable. Sometimes a family member, friend or co-worker throws away the product. If you feel your injury was caused by a defective product, you should still call us. Although we prefer to preserve the product and any broken parts, a case can be brought even if the product is mistakenly discarded if, for example, the focus of the case is on how all of these products are designed rather than focusing on whether this particular one was defective.
