When my machine at worked jammed, I just reacted and reached right in to fix it before I turned it off and really hurt my hand. My boss was blaming me but I want to know if I can still go after the company that made that machine.

A: Even when others think you are partly to blame for an accident, you may still have a valid products liability case against the manufacturer of a defective product. Remember that in a products liability case, the focus is on the product, and the question is whether it contained any element that made it unsafe or lacked any element needed to make it safe.  Manufacturers must foresee how their products will be used and it may be foreseeable that a worker would react just like you. Thus, the product perhaps should have contained a guard or a warning that would have kept you from getting injured.
