September 23, 2011 - Camden County, N.J. - According to a news report on philly.com, a woman faced charges on Monday, September 19, for a fatal hit and run she caused on Thursday, September 15.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., Elisha A. Pollosco was driving along Route 70 when she hit Binh Tsan near the Ranoldo Terrace. Tsan was coming back from a lunch break and was trying to cross the road when Pollosco's car hit her.
Meanwhile, Pollosco fled to her sister's home with a damaged headlight, which she claimed was from a fender bender.
Tsan was transported to Cooper University Hospital with a severe head injury and was pronounced dead on Saturday.
Pollosco was taken in by Cherry Hill police on Sunday when she admitted to striking Tsan. On Monday, Pollosco was in court facing charges of leaving the scene of an accident and hindering apprehension. She is now asking for a defense attorney.
