15-Year-Old Driver Kills 1 and Injures 7 in Northeast Philadelphia

July 7, 2011 - Northeast Philadelphia, Pa - According to a report from ABC Local, a 15-year-old driver killed 1 and injured 7 others in a Northeast Philadelphia accident.

The tragic car accident happened on Wednesday, June 29, late at night when the underage driver, Winston Charleston, of Holmesburg, decided to take his mother's car without permission and go for a joyride with 3 friends.

The driver came barreling off of I-95 without his headlights lit so a police vehicle gave chase. The 15-year-old then went through a light at Frankford Avenue, hit a Chevy and slammed head-on into a Volkswagen.

The driver of the Volkswagen, Jessica Feldman, 20, was injured and her boyfriend, Daniel Fouracre, 22, was killed instantly.

No other information was available on the 6 others who were injured.

Charleston is being charged with involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault and murder.
