2-Car Crash Kills Pregnant Woman in Washington Township, N.J.

June 13, 2011 - Washington Township, N.J. - According to a report from Philly.com, a 2-car crash killed a pregnant woman from Sewell.

The tragic car crash took place on Wednesday, June 1, at approximately 8:30 p.m. Toni Bolis, 29, was traveling west on Pitman Downer Road in her 2005 Ford Escape, when she was struck by another vehicle driven by Daniel Pereira, 21, of Glassboro.

Pereira had been heading east on the same road when he crossed over to oncoming traffic and hit Bolis' vehicle in a head on collision.

Bolis was 9 months pregnant and she and her baby later died at Kennedy Hospital in Washington Township. Pereira suffered internal injuries and was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. So far no charges have been filed and the car crash is under investigation.
