This month, nearly half a million LG washers were recalled due to the potential for excessive vibrating. Property damage and injury may result. These washers were manufactured by LG Electronics of South Korea and were sold at many stores, including:
So far, the manufacturer has received over 300 reports of excessive vibrating. Many involved property damage and at least one injury was reported. The recall involves top-loading washing machines which were manufactured between 2010 and 2011 and were sold as late as December 2012, for between $899 and $1,099.
