7 Cars Crash in Roxborough, Sending 3 People to the Hospital

September 24, 2011 - Roxborough, Pa. - According to a news release on ABC6, 7 vehicles collided, causing a massive car crash that happened on Saturday night, September 17, and injuring 3 people.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., local police were called to the scene of an accident at the intersection of Lawnton and Dupont Streets. Police reported that 7 vehicles were involved in the accident, and 3 injuries resulted.

A 55-year-old man was severely injured and transported to Temple University Hospital. Another pair of victims, 2 women, also landed in the hospital, but reports indicate that their injuries are not life-threatening.

No other details surrounding the accident have been brought to light. The cause of the crash is still being determined as local authorities continue their investigation.
