7-Year-Old Boy Injured in Hit and Run in Pleasantville, New Jersey

May 2, 2011 - Pleasantville, New Jersey - According to a report from ABC Local, a 7-year-old boy was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Pleasantville, New Jersey.

The hit-and-run accident that occurred on Saturday, April 30, involved 3 men, with 1 of them still being sought by police. The 7-year-old boy was riding his bicycle on Franklin Boulevard and Charles Avenue when he was struck by a black minivan.

The driver of the minivan ran from the hit-and-run accident but was arrested a short time later. It is unknown how the second suspect was found and arrested.The names of the suspects have not been released.

The boy was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was reported to be in critical condition.
