Earlier this month, there was yet another school bus/car accident in the region. On the evening of March 12, 2013, a 19 year-old woman's car collided with a school bus in Lumberton, Burlington County, NJ. Tragically, the woman died after being airlifted to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden, NJ.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
Just last month, there was another school bus accident in Upper Pittsgrove Township, NJ. Only this time, the school bus collided with two pickup trucks. At the time, the bus was carrying 20 children who fortunately, did not suffer serious injuries.
The driver of one of the pickup trucks sustained injuries and was airlifted to Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ.
