37,000 Gas Grills Recalled
Yesterday, nearly 40,000 gas grills were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in cooperation with the grill manufacturer, Guangdong Vanward Electric Co., Ltd., of China. Master Forge Gas Grills were sold exclusively at Lowe's stores in 2011 and 2012.
The danger is that if the gas hose was not installed correctly, it can melt and rupture. While no injuries were reported, this recall is vital, since in the winter, gas grill usage declines. So, by next spring/summer, many folks might not be aware of this recall.
