Mom and Young Daughter Killed in 2-Vehicle Car Accident in Franklin Township

October 6, 2011 - Franklin Township, N.J. - According to a news story from NJ.com, a mother and her young daughter were killed in a 2-vehicle car accident.

The deadly car accident took place on Wednesday, Sept. 28, on route 27 in Franklin Township. Niesha Middleton, 24, of South Brunswick, lost control of her vehicle when she was attempting to pass another car. Middleton's rear tire blew out, causing her to crash into a minivan taxi.

The driver of the taxi and the sole passenger were treated for injuries to their arms and legs. Middleton and her 8-year-old daughter died while at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Her 7-year-old son who was also a passenger remained hospitalized. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
