Motorcyclist Injured after Collision with Transit Van in Philadelphia

September 5, 2011 - Philadelphia, Pa. - According to a report from ABC Local, a motorcyclist was injured on Wednesday morning, August 24, when he collided with a para transit van in northeast Philadelphia.

The motorcycle accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m., on Roosevelt Boulevard at Whitaker Avenue. The name of the motorcyclist and the person driving the para transit van have not been named.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital and there is no word on the extent of his injuries. It is unknown if the driver of the van was also injured.

Police are in pursuit to investigate the accident.
