New Jersey Company Recalls Frozen Pasta Products

December 20, 2011 - D’Orazio Foods Inc, a Bellmawr, New Jersey, food manufacturer has recalled more than 160,000 pounds of frozen pasta products because they were not properly inspected by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service. If you become ill or injured due to a dangerous product, you may have grounds to file a claim.

The following products that have been recalled include the following:

25 oz. bags of Albertsons’ Sausage Ravioli;
25 oz. bags of Jewel Sausage Ravioli;
25 oz. bags of Albertsons’ Beef Ravioli;
25 oz. bags of Jewel Beef Ravioli; and
25 oz. bags of Our Family Beef Ravioli.

These products should be marked with “Est. 20146” within the USDA print of inspection on the label of the product and a “best if used by” date ranging from December 1, 2011 to December 12, 2012 on the flipside of the bag.

These products were sold in stores in:

· California;
· Illinois;
· Indiana;
· Ohio;
· Oregon;
· Texas; and
· Utah.
