According to the CDC, children are more at risk of dog bites. The rate of dog bite related injuries is highest for kids between 5 and 9 years old. The elderly are also likely to sustain dog bite related injuries. The elderly are physically weaker than other adults and are often unable to fend off dogs in a dog attack.
