A recalled dishwasher is believed to have caused a house fire last month, around Thanksgiving. Luckily, no one was injured.

Just before Thanksgiving, a Saint Peters, Missouri man returned to his home to find it engulfed in flames. According to one online news outlet, investigation revealed that the fire's cause was a dishwasher that had been recalled in 2009. Read about the dishwasher recall in 2009.

Many folks run appliances such as dishwashers or washers and dryers in the late evening, just before bed. This is the kind of circumstance which can lead to injury.
