Two New Models Announced in Latest Toyota Recall

According to a statement made by Toyota, the problem with the Avalon models is that the steering lock bar may break, which could cause the steering wheel to lock while the car is in motion. There have been 3 unconfirmed accidents, but no injuries reported due to this problem.

In the Lexus SUVs, Toyota said that a snap ring on the shaft may disengage after an impact, which may disengage the steering shaft. So far no accidents were reported because of this problem.
