October 6, 2011 - Salford, Pa. - According to a news story from PhillyBurbs.com, a victim was ejected from a vehicle in a Pennsylvania turnpike accident and now suffers a head injury.
The single-vehicle car accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 28, when a vehicle traveling southbound on the Northeast Extension of the turnpike flipped several times.
According to a trooper, one victim was ejected from the vehicle and received a head injury. However, the person was said to be conscious and alert. The victim was flown by helicopter to a nearby Philadelphia hospital.
