Thank you for visiting our Teen Driving Safety Summit page!
Help us stop our teens from texting while driving! Distracted driving is a menace, and it is on the rise. We want to help stop this trend. That is why we initiated the Teen Driving Safety Summit Program. We see the tragic consequences of distracted driving every day. The teen years are the time to learn safe driving habits.
We are presenting the Teen Driving Summit to educate teens on the dangers of texting and driving, and how “2 SECONDS” can change lives. We collaborate with local high schools, police departments and professional driving instructors to educate the young drivers. The program began in October 2010 and since then we've been to various local high schools to present. We have been to Wissahickon High School, Chestnut Hill Academy, Springside Academy, Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Perkiomen High School, Jenkintown Highschool and Germantown Academy.
If you are a school administrator, a community leader or a parent, and would like to find out more about the program and how we can help you educate young drivers about the dangers of texting while driving, please contact Louisa Chen at 610.897.2562 or email [email protected]. You can also visit the Teen Driving Summit FACEBOOK page to learn about the program and events at local High Schools.
